Siempre Natural was born in 1989 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Before the first restaurant opened, the founders ran a successful convenience store; However, they want a company that can contribute better to society, and they are looking for a different kind of business opportunity. As yogurt lovers, they often visit a local yogurt shop where the food is made behind a wall and customers are curious about the sanitary conditions under which the food is made. After couple months of research, a new yogurt recipe was born, giving way to a concept and restaurant design plan in which most of the food is prepared over the counter where customers can appreciate their food preparation. The new concept became a healthier alternative to the large number of local "Chipotle" and Mexican restaurants. The main menu which offered only yogurt, juice, shakes and fruit cocktails, but it soon expanded to include sandwiches and chicken salads. Today, Siempre Natural serves the cities of Reynosa, Mission, Pharr, and Edinburgh on both sides of the southern Texas border, and will soon open in McAllen, Texas.
