The idea struck, and in 2010, sisters Gretchen Smith, Jeni Gaston, and Judy Williamson kicked into high gear to produce Primitive Quilts, which is a book that is devoted to the primitive quilter, rug hooker, and stitcher. The book was published in honor of these craftspeople. Their presentation issue, "Summer 2011, " hit the scene in June 2011 and sold out very quickly. From that point forward they've delighted in creating another issue each quarter, while making new companions en route. They think you'll like how their magazines look and feel because the projects come from some of the best designers in primitive fiber arts.
