For more than 50 years, Penn State Bakery's skilled bakers have been proud of their craftsmanship. The delicious cookies, handmade breads, specialty desserts and cakes of this bakery have been enjoyed by thousands of students. Before moving to their current location in the housing and food service building, the bakery was located behind the water hole in the current West Campus. At present, the bakery is more like a multifaceted factory and distribution center than a normal neighbor bakery. Penn State Bakery’s 10,000 square foot facility provides baked goods to more than 30 locations in University Park and throughout the Commonwealth. You can find their specialties in dining commons and other food service operations departments, as well as the Pennsylvania State Hotel, campus dining department and more.
