They proudly opened Country Traditions in 1998 as a premier quilting and sewing shop in the Nebraska Quilt Company. They have grown and expanded over the years, welcoming visitors from all over the world. Over 8, 000 bolts of fabric, numerous books and patterns, notions, machines, and classrooms fill the 20, 000 square feet of this historic building from the turn of the century. Nebraska Quilt Company store features antique light fixtures suspended from a partial tin ceiling, original wood flooring, exposed ceiling beams, the original freight elevator, and 14-foot ceilings. In the Spring 2005 issue of Quilt Sampler, Country Traditions was named one of the Top 10 Quilt Shops. Better Homes and Garden's American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine named them one of the Best of the Best in 2007. In 2012, it was truly an honor for them to be chosen as the Encore Shop for the issue of the 2012 Spring Quilt Sampler.
