Natureland is Nelson ’s zoo and wildlife conservation center, where you can get up close and personal with some unique New Zealand aborigines, such as Tuatara and Kea, and watch local release plans. Come and play with monkeys and mongooses, you can also get in touch with various interesting domestic animals. Natureland are proud to be a community-centered charitable trust fund, so please join in and engage in a dialogue to protect the environment. In the protected corner of their zoo, these birds temporarily use the natural world as their home, but their eternal home will be Abel Tasman National Park. They work closely with the Janszoon project and the Ministry of Nature Conservation to contribute to their region.
