Muzzies is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality Crokinole boards; handmade by Murray Scarlin of East Margaritzville, Nova Scotia, Canada. Murray's board brought hours of fun and built a lasting life from the Canadian maple tree. The tournament board produced by Muzzies is designed in accordance with the size standards of the World Kroinol Championship. The smaller traditional board reflects the more "traditional" size and shape. For example, its Bronmeton is handmade from high-quality maple at Fendi. Both the base and the countertop are 1/2" maple plywood (medium density fiberboard core). The base is one piece. The ditch and back are not raw or painted "composite boards" with maple wood. The 1/4" outer edge is made of laminated maple wood strips. The entire circuit board including the bottom surface is protected by multiple layers of smooth, high-quality water-based furniture/cabinet paint using their own workshop paint.
