Located on the beautiful island of kauai, Island Soap and candle factory was founded in 1984 in the sleepy town of Kekaha. Over time, Island Soap expanded from a small collection of handmade soaps to a complete collection of natural Hawaiian island plant lotions, beeswax candles, lipsticks, ointments, and other gifts. Over the years, their main plant has expanded several times, but their commitment to quality and aloha has remained unchanged. In 1997, they opened a smaller soap and candle factory in kilauea, on the north coast of kauai. The store quickly became a popular destination as it was both a charming gift shop and a factory where visitors could watch soap and candles being made. With the success of their first store, they soon opened a second location in coroa, on the south bank of kauai.
