Arbon Socks began trading on May 1, 2018, producing and selling a range of luxury, UK-made alpaca and wool socks developed by John Arbon since 2001. Town End Yarns is another business of ours, producing high-grade alpaca wool blended knitting yarn and a small amount of alpaca wool and wool socks. They've been a customer of John and Juliet for several years. John had spun alpaca, blue Leicester and Falkland merino wool for them at the north Devon worsted mill. They were chatting at a knitting show in early 2017. John, Juliet and they share the same spirit in using English wool and alpaca Fibre to make products in the UK. They wanted more time to focus on their specialty spinning mills, making unique yarn and fiber jackets, so Arbon Socks agreed to take over the sock part of their business.
